Journal History
Asian Review of Public Administration (ARPA) was founded in 1990, with its first issue published as Volume 1–2, initially in hardcopy print form only. For over two decades, the journal was distributed exclusively in print.
Starting from Volume 22, No. 2 (2011), ARPA issues began to be made available online through the journal's earlier website, marking the journal's first step toward digital accessibility.
In 2024, with Volume 32, No. 1, ARPA transitioned to its current, fully open-access online platform, moving to a consistent biannual publication schedule (April and October each year) and formally adopting a stricter, double-blind peer-review process.
The journal's previous publication portal at http://www.eropa.co/arpa-open-access.html has been discontinued. The Asian Review of Public Administration (ARPA) is now formally and exclusively published through its updated channels under the auspices of the Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA) and the Asian Association for Public Administration (AAPA), accessible at https://journal.eropa-arpa.co/index.php/arpa.
